Preimplantation genetic screening PGS can benefit any couple at risk from passing on
genetic\chromosomal abnormalities.

Promoting excellence and professionalism in the delivery of laboratory services through patient – focused,
cost – effective diagnostic services.

The GenaTi team of researchers and scientists continues to work tremendously hard in order to set up new research
priorities and strategic directions for the GenaTi that are crucial to strengthening Saudi Arabia's health care system.

GenaTi contributes to the prevention of genetic diseases in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by offering
pre-implantation genetic diagnosis and screening in its new IVF clinic

Overview:

The study of epigenetics investigates modifications on DNA or DNA-associated proteins and how these covalent modifications affect gene expression and activity. Epigenetic mechanisms include methylation and hydroxymethylation of nucleotide bases, histone modification and regulation by non-coding RNA. Epigenetic modifications can be stable and heritable or they can be dynamic and influenced by outside factors like age, lifestyle, health status and environment. The GenaTi Epigenomics Research Services (GERS) offer a number of target genes or genome-wide epigenomic profiling mainly DNA methylation and miRNA expression patterns. The main approaches used to perform either targeted or genome-wide epigenomic profiling are the EpiTect MethyLight-based real time PCR, targeted sequencing, microarrays and whole-exome bisulfite sequencing.

Offered services:

Primer and/or probe design for specific targets
Bisulfite conversion of DNA and PCR amplification of target sequences
Discover and/or validate DNA methylation (epigenetic) biomarkers
Establish assays for DNA methylation and RNA-expression analysis
Whole-exome base-pair resolution quantification of DNA methylation
  Target miRNA analysis
Whole genome miRNA profiling used either microarrays or NGS
